Job Description


Are you a logistics expert with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for getting things where they need to be—on time and on budget? Next Level Technician is looking for a Materials Manager to lead the charge in purchasing, inventory control, vendor relations, and just-in-time delivery across our growing project portfolio.
What You’ll Do:

  • Own the full materials lifecycle—from procurement to delivery and inventory control

  • Analyze BOMs and forecast material needs for datacenter and infrastructure projects

  • Manage vendor relationships, track shipments, and ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery

  • Maintain PO records, confirmations, special orders, and returns

  • Optimize purchasing systems and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain

  • Collaborate with PMs and estimators during the bidding and planning process

  • Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping materials
Key Metrics You’ll Impact:

  • Inventory Turns & Fill Rates

  • PO Cost Reductions

  • Supplier On-Time Delivery

  • Months of Supply & Dead Stock Reduction
What You Bring:

  • 8+ years in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles

  • Strong skills in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., J.D. Edwards, Commerce Center, etc.)

  • Background in datacenter builds or low-voltage/cabling projects is a plus

  • CPM or supply chain certifications preferred

  • Pro-level organization, negotiation, and vendor management skills

  • Experience with copper/fiber cabling standards is a bonus
