Are you a logistics expert with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for getting things where they need to be—on time and on budget? Next Level Technician is looking for a Materials Manager to lead the charge in purchasing, inventory control, vendor relations, and just-in-time delivery across our growing project portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
Own the full materials lifecycle—from procurement to delivery and inventory control
Analyze BOMs and forecast material needs for datacenter and infrastructure projects
Manage vendor relationships, track shipments, and ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery
Maintain PO records, confirmations, special orders, and returns
Optimize purchasing systems and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain
Collaborate with PMs and estimators during the bidding and planning process
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping materials
Key Metrics You’ll Impact:
Inventory Turns & Fill Rates
PO Cost Reductions
Supplier On-Time Delivery
Months of Supply & Dead Stock Reduction
What You Bring:
8+ years in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles
Strong skills in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., J.D. Edwards, Commerce Center, etc.)
Background in datacenter builds or low-voltage/cabling projects is a plus
CPM or supply chain certifications preferred
Pro-level organization, negotiation, and vendor management skills
Experience with copper/fiber cabling standards is a bonus
