About the Role:
Next Level Technician is seeking a qualified Safety Supervisor for a Direct Hire opportunity in New Albany, OH. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing and enforcing jobsite safety protocols, delivering training, and fostering a safety-first culture across large-scale commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate brings hands-on safety experience in the field, particularly in environments involving union labor.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the project’s safety program, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Conduct jobsite inspections and audits focused on hazard recognition and mitigation.

  • Organize and facilitate safety training sessions, meetings, and new hire orientations.

  • Develop and implement safety-related programs and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of safety procedures through daily field observations.

  • Participate in OSHA or other regulatory inspections and ensure full compliance.

  • Provide safety coaching, mentoring, and corrective feedback to field teams.

  • Support foremen and general foremen in addressing site-specific safety issues.

  • Collaborate closely with project leadership to develop and implement corrective action plans.

  • Review incident reports and assist with investigations when necessary.
Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2–5 years of safety experience in construction; 3+ years preferred.
  • STSC Certification required.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.

  • Experience working with a union workforce is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
