About the Role:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely with our Project Managers and field leadership to ensure project success from pre-construction through closeout. You’ll assist in managing everything from material procurement and scheduling to subcontractor coordination, safety tracking, cost reporting, and client communication.
What You'll Do:

  • Assist in day-to-day management of structured cabling and data center infrastructure projects

  • Help build project schedules and track key milestones, budgets, and deliverables

  • Coordinate travel and site logistics for field technicians

  • Collaborate with superintendents, leads, and subcontractors to keep projects moving smoothly

  • Oversee project documentation including permits, access requests, RFIs, and material requisitions

  • Track job costs, submit progress reports, and assist with invoicing and client billing

  • Support contract preparation, changes, and closeouts

  • Monitor on-site safety and quality programs alongside PMs

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Participate in regular site walks and take ownership of issue resolution and risk mitigation
What You Bring:

  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, construction management, or structured cabling environments (data center experience preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field—or equivalent work experience

  • Working knowledge of cabling infrastructure, data center operations, or network systems is a plus

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to travel and be on active job sites regularly

  • PMP, RCDD, or BICSI certifications are a plus, but not required
