Low Voltage Project Manager – Long-Term Opportunity in Pelham, AL

Next Level Technician is urgently seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager for a long-term opportunity in Pelham, AL.

As a Project Manager with Next Level Technician, you'll oversee projects across a wide range of commercial and industrial sites—from schools and hospitals to office buildings, retail spaces, warehouses, and manufacturing plants. Each project offers a unique scope of work that will broaden your experience and strengthen your expertise in the low voltage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and define project scopes; conduct site visits and assist in creating layout drawings and work specifications.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Estimating teams to support project design, scheduling, and material planning.

  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

  • Manage technician and subcontractor scheduling across all assigned projects.

  • Oversee procurement and delivery of project materials.

  • Conduct regular on-site visits to ensure quality standards and optimize project efficiency.

  • Provide training and support to field supervisors, leads, technicians, and assistant PMs.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Manage and document change orders as needed, securing client approval and tracking updates.

  • Maintain complete project documentation and deliver status reports as required.

  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and profitability.

  • Keep leadership informed of progress and potential project risks.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or a similar role preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including fire alarm and security technologies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, and other project management tools.

  • Strong leadership and customer service orientation.

  • Adaptability and willingness to travel as needed.
