Job Description

Next Level Technician is currently seeking a Low Voltage Engineer in Nashville TN. Individuals who are qualified for this position shall possess the ability to work directly with clients and lead the discussion during presentations, project meetings and engineer low voltage projects. Shall have excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical/problem solving skills, lead and work within a multi-discipline team setting and be able to work in a scheduled, driven, and challenging environment

Qualifications:

•Technical expertise in commercial antennae television (CATV), audio visual/video teleconferencing (AV/VTC), local/wide area networks (LAN/WAN), Wi-Fi, distributed audio/overhead paging, and electronic safety & security (ESS)
•Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit/BIM/CAD, and Bluebeam
•Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices

Responsibilities:

•Lead the development and implementation of low voltage engineering projects from concept to completion
• Design and engineer low voltage systems, including fire alarms, security systems, audiovisual systems, and structured cabling
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify optimal low voltage solutions
• Prepare accurate project documentation, including drawings, schematics, and technical reports
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery
•Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in low voltage engineering
