Next Level Technician is urgently looking for a Low Voltage Engineer in the Omaha NE area. If you have experience in structured cabling, security, AV etc. and have been a low voltage engineer on medium to large low voltage projects this is the position for you!
Qualifications:
•Proven experience in low voltage engineering, including design and project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM or Revit
•Strong knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
•Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
•Lead the development and implementation of low voltage engineering projects from concept to completion
• Design and engineer low voltage systems, including fire alarms, security systems, audiovisual systems, and structured cabling
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify optimal low voltage solutions
• Prepare accurate project documentation, including drawings, schematics, and technical reports
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery
•Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in low voltage engineering
