Next Level Technician is urgently seeking low voltage data technicians in the Charleston SCarea. If you have experience on structured cabling projects in a commercial environment this may be the position for you!
What You'll Be Doing As a Low Voltage Cable Technician at Next Level Technician, you will work on a variety of Commercial and Industrial sites, gaining exposure to a wide range of environments such as schools, hospitals, office buildings, retail stores, and industrial facilities. You’ll be involved in diverse projects that will enhance your skill set and broaden your knowledge base.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Pulling, terminating, dressing, testing, and labeling CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, and Fiber data cables
Installing and terminating racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, firestopping, etc.
Reading and interpreting blueprints to follow system layouts
Installing devices such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and audio-visual equipment
Ensuring all installations are completed safely and efficiently in compliance with industry standards

Requirements:
Previous experience in low voltage cable installation (preferred)
Ability to pull, terminate, and test a variety of cables (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, Fiber)
Ability to read blueprints and install racks, patch panels, and outlets
Experience with CCTV, access control, and audio-visual system installations
OSHA10, OSHA30, Lift, and Manufacturer Certifications are a plus and can positively impact your pay rate
