Next Level Technician is looking for an Infrastructure Security Network Engineer in the Raleigh NC area!

Job Summary:

The Security Engineer/Estimator is responsible for leading IP-based security systems projects, specifically in the areas of video surveillance, access control, intercom, and paging systems. Demonstrated ability in estimation, fieldwork, and the capability to read, interpret, and generate accurate drawings and proposals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement IP-based security solutions focusing on Video surveillance, access control, and intercom systems
• Ensure that designs are compliant with industry standards and company requirements
• Accurately estimate costs associated with the design and implementation of IP security solutions
• Draft detailed and precise proposals for clients, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are clearly addressed.
• Provide technical support and advice to sales and operations teams.
• Conduct site visits to gather essential data for the design and implementation phase
• Collaborate closely with installation teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately in the field
• Resolve any issues that may have arisen during the life cycle of the project
• Read and interpret existing drawings and specifications
• Create and maintain technical drawings and documentation for all projects using Bluebeam and CAD
• Prepare submittal packages including as-builts for each project
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities to enhance professional skills

Education and Experience:
• Minimum 5 Years in IP-Based security estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Bluebeam
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering design drawings
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Certification or expertise in the following: Avigilon, OpenPath, Paxton, Kantech, Turing, Vivotech, Ava, Dahua
