Data Center Technician – Immediate Openings in Abilene, Texas
1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Data Center Technicians for a long-term opportunity in Abilene, Texas. If you're experienced in low voltage cabling and looking for a company that values your skillset, provides high-level support, and helps you grow professionally, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Install Cat 6 and pre-terminated fiber optic cabling in data center environments.

  • Terminate LC and MPO connectors with accuracy and consistency.

  • Dress and organize cables in wire management systems, cable trays, and ladder racks.

  • Rack and stack switches, servers, and other network equipment.

  • Maintain clear, accurate labeling for all installed cabling.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working in a data center.

  • Familiarity with telecom and data network infrastructure.

  • Basic hand tools and full PPE required, including:

    • Class 2 hard hat

    • Level 4 cut-resistant gloves

    • Safety vest, glasses, and steel-toe boots

  • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.
