What You’ll Be Working On
As a Low Voltage Cable Technician, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of commercial and industrial environments—including schools, hospitals, corporate offices, retail centers, and warehouses. No two sites are the same, giving you the chance to sharpen and expand your skills every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Pulling, terminating, dressing, testing, and labeling CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, and Fiber cables
Installing and terminating racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, and firestopping systems
Reading and interpreting system layouts and blueprints
Installing devices including CCTV systems, access control, and AV equipment
What Sets You Apart:
OSHA10, OSHA30, Lift, and Manufacturer Certifications (a plus and reflected in pay)
BICSI Certifications (highly preferred)
A strong work ethic, adaptability, and the desire to grow in the low voltage field
